Myanmar state TV has announced 19 people have been sentenced to death for killing the associate of an army captain, 17 of them in absentia. These are the first death sentences passed since the coup

Sittwe, Rakhine State: An eyewitness said the shooting took place inside Yoma Bank Sittwe branch at 1pm today. Cause remains unknown. Injured person was taken away. Security forces are guarding the bank right now, local outlet Western News reports
